It takes a few shots... get the perfect one.

I don't think I have shown you this layout before:

I made it for a multiple photo challenge over at Lily Bee's. The challenge was to use more than 2 photos, but why use 3 when you can use 13? ;-) I really like how this one turned out!

Yesterday, I made my very first DT layout for October Afternoon! Eeeeek! I can't wait to show it to you!  Keep an eye on OA's blog. It's going up on Thursday ;-)

Thanks for peeking in!

Climb Up High

I can't tell you enough how much I love the Lucky Charm collection! I feel inspired as soon as I pull out the papers. Here is another layout:

The layout is a message for Linnea: "What ever you do in your life, my love, believe in yourself and aim high."

This must be my favorite technique at the moment: first sketch, then cut. Here, I've used it both on the clouds and on the title. The title is written with the free font Always Forever.

I am loving these colors! And that arrow-paper is to die for!

I hope you feel inspired by AC Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection. If you didn't get it yet, please do! You won't regret it! I got mine from Paper Issues. If you want to get some, feel free to use my code ALEX20 to get 20% discount on the entire order.

Talking about Paper Issues, be sure to link up your projects for the current "It's Serendipity" issue. You can win a prize pack from our sponsor this month - Elle's Studio.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweets for my Sweet

Hi there, my dear scrappy friends!

First of all - thank you SO much for all the congratulations here and on my Facebook page! I knew you would understand how huge OA's team feels for me! :) I am still somewhere up among the happy clouds... Can't wait to receive my first OA package!

Also, thank you for joining us in the Paper Issues' celebration of Cassie Box's birthday! Your response has been tremendous so far! Thank you so much for entering my giveaway. And if you have missed it, there is still time to enter. You can find it here.

Now to something else... Today, I wanted to show you a layout I created as a guest DT for Pyssloteket (a Swedish shop). My GDT package contained some lovely My Mind's Eye Indie Chic papers. Here is what I came up with:

Yes, I love cutting out patterns from my papers :-)

She was so happy when she got this huge Mickey Mouse cotton candy (or at least it was meant to look as Mickey :))

Thanks for stopping by! Next time I'll show you another Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm layout. It's laying on my desk right now, waiting for some final touches...

Have a nice day!

I have some GREAT news!

Sometimes, it really does happen; a dream comes true.

I've been asked to join the October Afternoon design team! I've loved OA since the day I started to scrap, so this feels HUGE. I was so happy and so honored, that I cried and laughed at the same time when I read Jon's message on my Facebook. My husband only shook his head, wondering what was wrong with me, but I am sure that you - my scrappy friends - will understand :-) I still have moments when it feels hard to believe, but now I can just jump over to OA's blog and read the announcement... over and over again *lol*

I am so freaking, over the moooon happy and excited about this! :-)
I am looking forward to inspiring you as an OA girl :D

Hello Spring!

Yesterday, I almost hugged my mailman! He came with my big, heavy box from Paper Issues. I've ordered a LOT of goodies: Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection, Fancy Pants Trendsetter and Park Bench collections, stamps, washi tapes, mists, alphas, wooden hearts... I also received my very first DT package! I don't know where to start! I feel so inspired, I could scrap 24/7! If only life would allow ;-)

Here is what I made yesterday when the kids went to bed:

AC Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm must be my favorite collection at the moment! Love it to the bits!

I don't usually stamp on my layouts (I am afraid that I am going to ruin the entire thing with that last little touch...), but I love to see it when other people do. So I ordered some stamps from Paper Issues... Yep, it's time for me to face my fears and start stamping! :D The washi tape stamp is from Prima. The rest is from Elle's Studio. Everything on this layout comes from the Paper Issues shop. Want something of it? Head over to the shop and feel free to use my code ALEX20 to get 20% off your order.

I am going to link this layout up on Paper Issues blog. The current theme is "Serendipity" and Elle's Studio is giving away a prize pack to 5 lucky winners! You don't need to use Elle's Studio products to participate. You can link up anything that fits under "Serendipity". Think words like: Chance, Fate, Luck, Destiny, Karma, Coincidence.

I can't wait to see your work!
See you soon again!

I have issues; Paper Issues!

I've been longing to tell you - I've made the Paper Issues team! Woohoooo!

There are people that you just _like_. Cassie Box is one of those people. I liked her from the first email, from the first "Hi". So when I saw that she was having a DT-call for her lovely shop and blog, I just had to give it a try.  I was with my friends when I got her message, asking me to join the team. They must have wondered what the #!&%?# was wrong with me, 'cause I just couldn't stop smiling. What they didn't know was that I just got issues; Paper Issues!

I am so happy and excited! I am honored! Paper Issues' shop is amazing (and if there is something you miss in the shop, you can always email Cassie and she will try to get it for you!), the Paper Issues' blog is full of inspiration, the girls are seriously awesome (and a little bit crazy, I've learned :D), and Cassie herself is just the sweetest! Yep, this is going to be so much fun! :-)

Now, do something nice for yourself and head over to the blog and link up you projects for the current Elle's Studio Serendipity issue! There are some really nice prizes to win! Or why not check out the shop? It's filled with candy! Just look at the May kit! How gorgeous is that???

And don't forget to use the code ALEX20 at checkout. It will give you 20% off your whole order!

I am looking forward to inspire you as a proud Paper Issues team member!

Too Beautiful

I took this picture to show our wallpaper to some friends (which I LOVE by the way!). But I shouldn't have asked Linnea to be a model. She is just way too beautiful. I don't even look at the wallpaper with her standing there. I only have eyes for her...

When I saw these papers from AC Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection, I instantly thought of my wallpaper. They match perfectly! :-) Needless to say, I love them both!

I have a crash on this golden, dotted vellum! I regret I only got one of it.

The yellow heart and the word "beautiful" are by Heidi Swapp. They go perfectly well together with 5th and Frolic! Yummy!

I can't wait for next week to come! I have two pretty happy secrets to share with you ;-)

Thanks for peeking in!

Enchanting Beauty

Sometimes, I simply get enchanted by Linnea's beauty. I love watching her grow. I'm sure she will become a beautiful young woman one day.

I got me some AC Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic goodies... Yummy! I've missed a lot of pretty stuff while I was away :) I am loving all the gold touches in this collection. Lovely! It felt perfect for this photo of my beautiful girl.

Enchanting beauty; that's what she is.

The cute little flair is from The Paper Bakery shop. Right now you can get some too with free worldwide shipping, if you enter promo code YESFLAIR. But hurry! The offer ends today!

I cut this beautiful butterfly by Lori Whitlock with my Cameo and adhered it to a piece of vellum. Love how it turned out. I made the butterfly pretty large and left the rest of the layout be very simple. I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoying the Ride

Believe it or not, but I have more Lily Bee layouts to share :-)

I made this one for their Transportation challenge last month. I used the Handmade collection.

Adrian loves his stroller. I am not used to that. Linnea always hated it when she was a baby. We had to rock the stroller, run and sing at the same time to make her fall asleep. But Adrian... he just lies there; calm and relaxed. He really knows how to enjoy the ride.

I cut this Echo Park stroller with my Cameo in three different papers and then layered the pieces using 3d-dots. It turned out pretty cute :-)

You know what? I kind of miss playing with October Afternoon. If you are following my blog, you know how much I love OA. Well... I am not a hoarder. If I love a collection, I use it to the last little bit (well... almost). So now I am kind of out of OA. At first I didn't want to order collections I missed while I was away from scrapbooking and I only preordered the Travel Girl instead, but I should have known better... No way I can wait! :-) So... I just placed an order for Farm Girl and Midway! Yay! Just so you know... You can expect to see some new OA creations in here soon :-)

Thanks for peeking in!

Finally We Meet

Linnea got a little bit sad when she saw Adrian's birth layout. "Why didn't I get one?", she asked. "I want one!", she demanded. "And I want hearts on mine too!". So, what to do? Make her one, of course :-)

I am still in love with the soft and beautiful Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. It felt perfect for this layout.

These hearts are for you, my sweet little girl; my love.

Again, I made my title with Cameo. Seriously, how did I ever manage to scrap without it?? :-)

I don't usually use this big decorations on my layouts, but this layered flower was just too cute to leave untouched. I cut a border sticker in three and layered it underneath the flower. She asked for hearts, didn't she? ;-) It was first time she actually asked for a layout. I am glad she appreciates memories I am creating for her.

I don't have much time for blog hopping these days. Posting this took me hours! Adrian still needs me a lot... But.. THANKS for peeking in and visiting my little scrappy place! And thank you for the love and kind words you are leaving behind you. It feels sooo nice to hear that you guys are glad to see me again :-)

Until next time!

I was spied!

So... March is over and the winners have been presented on Lily Bee's blog. Nope, I was not one of them :-( I went all in this time, I entered every single challenge and I was really happy with my takes. But nope, it wasn't enough. Some other time, maybe.. If I can get some new papers. Lily Bee is hard to get here is Sweden. No idea why... What is wrong with Swedish stores??? Lily Bee rocks! Every store should have them in stock :-)

But even if I didn't win, I got spied! :-) They chose to publish this card I made for my sister in law:

Feels good! Especially since I am not a card maker :-)

Here is one more layout I created for Lily Bee in March. This one was for a sketch challenge:

These lovely papers are from the Double Dutch collection. All the circles and the title are cut with the Cameo.

As the title says: I {HEART} this smile! Luckily, he smiles a lot ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy, happy, happy!

A week ago I got the most unexpected email from Malin. She was wondering if I was interested in guesting Pyssloteket for couple of months. If?! Honestly, I never thought that something like this could happen to me, especially not after I've been away from scrapbooking for so long. But it did happen (yep, I am pretty sure it wasn't a dream...) and I was more than happy to say YES! So now I am patiently waiting for my package from Anna, Pyssloteket's mama. I am soooo looking forward to design for her! :-)

More happy news... I was featured over at Paper Issues' blog. Not once, but twice! The current issue is all about clouds and I linked up two of my layouts. Both of them got featured! One old and one new :-) Me so happy!

While talking about happy, let me share one happy and bright layout with you.

He was only 6 weeks old when I took this picture of him, and he already looked a little sneaky :-) I am pretty sure that we are going to see more of this look in the future :-)

I have ordered some new stuff from US, and while waiting for those goodies to arrive, I am going through my stash playing with what ever makes me feel inspired. For this layout I have mixed two old MME lines; Lime Twist and Miss Caroline Dolled Up. Two lines that at the first sight seem so different, worked perfectly well together!

I've mixed 3D stars with plain ones to get more interesting dimension.

That would be all for this time. See you soon again!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
