Paper Issues: Um, WOW! We love chipboard!

This week, we have chipboard issues over at Paper Issues. Our current sponsor is UmWowStudio and some of the girls got to play with their awesome chipboard. Head over to the PI blog to check out their beautiful work and to see how you can win a UmWow prize pack!

As always, you can increase your chances if you link up your work, new or old, to the blog. If you don't have any UmWow products, you can link up anything with chipboards. I am sure you have plenty of it!

When I think of chipboards, Crate Paper instantly pops up in my head. I adore their chipboards elements that come with every collection. For this issue I played with The Pier line and created this layout about Adrian's first summer. This is us, first time on a beach together.

Do I need to tell you how much I love The Pier??? I adore this chipboard sliding frames!

I used the cut outs sheet pretty much as it was. Love how it turned out!

I still love hexagons! The patterned paper with hexagons is one of my favorites from this collection. I cut out some of them to lighten it up a bit.

Love the kite chipboard! So does my daughter. She was a little jealous when she saw this layout. "Awwww! It's so pretty, mommy! But... Why didn't I get that kite on one of my layouts???" LOL I am glad that she likes my work :-)

I incorporated the word "summer" that was printed on one of the tags in my title. Love finding different, fun ways to make my titles.

You can get your own Pier HERE in the Paper Issues' shop. There is still a lots of it left. Use the code "HELLO" to receive 20% off your entire order.

Can't wait to see what you will link up to our current issue

6 months with Elle's Studio

When I saw Elle's sketch for this week, I instantly felt inspired. It didn't take me long to get started with this layout. My son Adrian @ 6 months.

Can't believe that he is already 6 months old! Time flies!

I hate my handwriting, but I really wanted to use it to add a personal touch to this page. I also wanted to write down a couple of facts about him at six months; like how big he is and how much he likes to eat salmon and banana (not together tough) but hates when we put him in a car.

Arrows... I can't get enough of them!

I love the Cameron collection from Elle's Studio! It felt perfect for this photo of my little man. If you like Elle's Studio, you can get it over at Paper Issues. Use the code "HELLO" and you will receive 20% off your entire order.

Off to upload my layout to Elle's member gallery... Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues + Lily Bee

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE summer. But you may agree with me, it's not the best time of the year for scrapbooking! I have so many projects in my head that I would love to realize, but days just fly by filled with family activities. There were two things high on my want-to-scrap-list. One: Make something for the latest issue over at Paper Issues. Two: Play with Lily Bee's July sketch challenge. Since I don't have much dedicated scrap time, I decided to combine the two. Here is the result:

The current issue is called Nature Walk and it is sponsored by Pretty Little Studio. You can either make something using the Pretty Little Studiosproducts or something Nature themed. I went for the theme and made a layout about Linnea's first fishing adventure with her grandpa (deda = grandpa in Serbian). I love seeing them together like this. It brings back a lot of memories since that's something I enjoyed doing when I was a little girl; fishing with my dad.

I have used the lovely, summery Pinwheel collection from Lily Bee. Their July sketch is a killer! Love it SO much! I replaced two vertical photos with one horizontal. The third one I replaced with a big heart/arrow that I sketched and cut with my Cameo.

I love all the triangles in the sketch! I wanted to play with triangles for a while now... This was a perfect opportunity to do so.

I am pretty happy with this layout and I hope that I have inspired you to join us over at Paper Issues blog and link up some of your Nature themed or Pretty Little Studio projects. You can win a gift certificate to Pretty Little Studio!

October Afternoon: Inspired by covers

I have a fun challenge for you over at the October Afternoon blog! I love finding my inspiration in book/magazine covers. Today, I have posted three different covers hoping to inspire you.

This is how my layout turned out. I have used the gorgeous Travel Girl collection.

Head over to OA to see more of it and to check out the challenge I got for you.

Have a lovely day!

EDIT: I am linking up this layout to the "The World is a Circle" issue over at Paper Issues.

From now on you can find the new, the bigger and the better store at She is still the sweetest and she is still offering the best customer service on Earth. The big improvement is that you will now be able to see all the products online. Yes, that includes 12x12 papers! Yay!

Now, head over to the new STORE and shop til you drop! Our personal codes are gone, but you can now use the code HELLO to receive 20% off the entire order! I told you Cassie was still the sweetest ;-)

Good luck with the new shop, Cassie! I am super excited for you!

Vacation time!

Finally! It's time for some quality time with my beautiful family! We are leaving for vacation and no, I am not taking any scrapbooking supplies with me :-)

But before I leave, I have an October Afternoon layout to show you. I got to play with one of Mou's beautiful sketches this week. You can see the sketch and Mou's take on it here, on the OA's blog. I don't usually use this many layers, but Mou made it easy for me giving me her sketch. Here is my take on it.

I have used the cute Farm Girl collection to create a layout about my little everyday luxury; my own strawberries.

The Farm Girl collection felt perfect for this layout.

Mmmm... What would a summer be without strawberries? Strawberries and vacation! Time for me to log out now. See you in 10 days!

Hope you are having a wonderful summer!
