Me & You

I love Crate Paper! Seriously. LOVE! I've been dying to play with Flea Market! Yesterday, it finally happened! Eeeeee! Here is the layout I came up with.

That's me and my little girl. I asked for one thing for Mother's day and it was a photo shoot with the two of us. I love the joy in her face on this one ♥

These photo overlays are to die for! Such a fun embellishment! I used them on top of patterned paper instead photos. They are lovely! Not so easy to photograph tough... :-)

Everything in this collections is just oh-so-pretty!

I have a couple of busy days in front of me and I won't be able to scrap any more this week. It's going to be tough! It's pretty much all I can think about right now *grins*

If you like the Flea Market collection, you can get it HERE in the Paper Issues store. Use my code ALEX20 at checkout to get 20% off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon again!

Hello Handsome x 2

When I saw the Dapper Dan collection from Glitz Design, I knew I had the perfect photo for it! I've been saving this picture of my handsome boys for it :-)

Aren't they cute?? I can't stop smiling looking at them...

I love, love, love the giant rhinestones that come with all Glitz releases!! Eeeeee!!

I love this ombre green paper! I cut out some of the darker pattern and layered it on stop of the light area. I really like the effect.

Can you tell I feel inspired by all the goodies I recently received from Paper Issues? If I could, I would scrap every single day! I have so many ideas in my head and my fingers are itching like crazy! My Mojo is in his best mood right now ;-)

You can find the Dapper Dan and other gorgeous Glitz collections HERE in the shop. If you want some of it, use my code ALEX20 at checkout to receive 20% off your order.

Making Mud

How I've been longing to play with the beautiful Penelope from Elle's Studio! I made this layout about my daughter who loves to play with mud. Some days, I can found her covered from top to toe when I puck her up from kindergarten. But her smile and joy is worth every single mud stain on her clothes :-)

Love all the bits and pieces that come with every Elle's collection.

I cut these hearts from one of the papers and layered them on top of my photo. It hurt to cut them! I wish I had bought more than just one of each paper. They are sooooo pretty!

That would be all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: Fallin' for You

Ready for a new paper issue? I hope so! Today we are kicking off the "Fallin' for You" theme, sponsored by Ruby Rock-it. They are giving a way a prize pack full of "At Last", their new wedding line. Come over to Paper Issues and link up anything you got that fits the theme (fall, wedding, love...) for your chance to win!

I made this layout using the lovely Color Wash line from Pink Paislee together with a lot of elements from the Mixed Company ephemera pack by Heidi Swapp. It's a match made in heaven!

As much as I love this line, I was afraid that I won't be able to make it justice. It's so soft and artsy, so... not me! LOL But I kinda like how this layout turned out...

I realize now that I should have taken another detailed shot... the reflection in this photo makes our skin look damaged :-) But it will do... It's all the beautiful embellishments I wanted to show you here. And that chevron paper... oh, that chevron paper... love!

That's us, 6 years ago... just couple of hours before we became husband and wife.

Love the printed canvas stickers! They add such interesting texture to the layout. After playing with this line, I just want to get some real water colors and try to play with them. I really love the look!

I hope you feel inspired to link up some of your projects to our current issue! We would love to see them! And of course, if you would like to get some of these gorgeous products from the shop, feel free to use my code ALEX20 to get 20% off your order.

1-2-3-Go!

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a nice weekend! I wanted to stop by and share a layout I made just for fun. My baby boy has started to walk with his little wagon! Yay!! I love seeing him this happy and proud :-)

The colorful Hey Kid collection from Pink Paislee felt perfect to document this big moment! Don't you agree?

Love the ephemera pack! It's loaded with so many fun elements!

I cut "so proud of you my dear" from one of the subway flags from this collection.

Can you tell I love arrows? LOL I love how bright and happy this collection is! There are also more girly papers in it, so Linnea is also going to get a Hey Kid layout soon :-) You can find this awesome line HERE in the Paper Issues shop, and you can get it with 20% off if you use the code ALEX20 at checkout.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

EDIT: I am linking up this layout to the "The World is a Circle" issue over at Paper Issues.

Paper Issues: Halloween Hootenanny!

I am so happy that I finally got a chance to make something for the current Halloween issue. We don't celebrate Halloween (it's not a big deal here in Sweden), so I had nothing to link up and nothing to play with. Luckily, my box filled with goodies from Paper Issues arrived in time. Inside was this beautiful Raven collection from Glitz Design, just waiting for me to dig in. Here is what I came up with.

Last year was the first time Linnea actually asked for a Halloween costume so she could go trick-or-treating. I guess every kid will take any chance to get some candy ;-) She wanted to be a witch and she wanted to put her own make-up on. Neither of us got surprised so we let her do it. She looked.. well... scary (and funny but that she didn't want to hear!) LOL

"The witch is in" card was just perfect here! Actually, the whole collection felt like a perfect match! The layout practically scrapped itself :-)

If you still don't feel inspired to play along, I have just the right thing to change that. Just look at the prize!!

That's the whole set of the new Color Shine colors from Heidi Swapp! Yep! This is one of those times when I wish the DT was eligible to play ;-) You have one more week to link up! Go! Go!

And while you are there, check out the new releases from Glitz. I tell you, they are among my favorites! Can't wait to play with the rest! (yes, I ordered pretty much all of it LOL). If you would like to buy some of it, feel free to use my code ALEX20 at checkout. It will give you 20% off your entire order.

Life.Paper.Scrapbook: October color challenge

Ready for another Life.Paper.Scrapbook. color challenge? This month we are playing with the folowing color scheme. Pretty, huh?

Here is my layout, using the Park Bench collection from Fancy Pants.

And what would a blog post be without some closeups?

Adrian got his first teeth when he was only 4 months old. That's what this layout is about.

I found these huge banners a little hard to use. I think my eye has adjusted to their size, because I am actually starting to like them :-)

The prize this month is AWESOME! I am 100% sure that you will agree! Our sponsor is Freckled Fawn and they are giving away this gorgeous OHDEERME October kit! Eeeeeek! I wish I could win!!

I hope you feel like playing along with us this month! I am looking forward to seeing your projects!

Thanks for stopping by!

EDIT: I am linking up this layout to the "The World is a Circle" issue over at Paper Issues.

I am a guest over at American Crafts!!!

Woot! Woot! Woot!

I am sooooo excited to finally be able to share my happy scrappy news! Eeeeeek! When Paige asked me if I wanted to guest American Crafts, I almost fainted. I think I forgot to breathe for a few seconds! Me? GDT for AC? Ha! I was really sad for not making their team (yes, I applied and I kept my fingers crossed til they turned blue..). Like really, really, really sad. It would have been a dream. But this gig made me feel a little better about myself again. Tee-hee!

Paige sent me a huge box filled with the brand new Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party line. My Mojo squealed and started to jump up and down clapping his hands, when we opened it. I made my first layout the same evening. So... I could show you everything I've made here and now but I really want you to head over to the American Crafts blog and see me there. I mean, I am actually on their blog! Ha! It could be my one and only time, so it would really make me happy if you stopped by and said hi ;-) I can always try to tempt you with a few sneaks...

Thank you SO much American Crafts for having me! I've had a blast! But I guess that it shows... :-)

I hope to see you there!

Play to Learn

Hi guys! Happy Monday! :-) Can someone please slow down the time? Weeks are flying by and all I want is to stop them! I don't want this year to end...

Today I wanted to share a layout I made using the new Daily Flash Milk Money line from October Afternoon. I made it for my sketch challenge that was up on the OA blog ~10 days ago. You can find the sketch HERE if you would like to play along.

I love watching Adrian play with this activity board. It used to be his dad's. I like thinking that he used to sit like this 30-something years ago. Adrian looks so much like him...

Since I have a very bold and colorful paper as my background, I tried to keep the area close to my photos pretty clean. I drew the rectangles with my Cameo and filled them with little bits and pieces.

The sketched title... Starts to feel like a signature of mine :-)

This week I am up on the October Afternoon blog with another challenge for you. I hope you will stop by and check it out. Here is a little sneak of a layout using the new Daily Flash Apple Cider line. You can see more of it HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful week!

Love him so

Hi guys! I wanted to share some Polka Dot Party love today. I adore this Dear Lizzy collection from American Crafts!! It's too beautiful for words! Here is a layout about my fabulous little boy.

I love how nicely the elements from Heidi Swapp complement this collection.

I stamped the little stars with a Daily Flash roller stamp from October Afternoon. "Love you to pieces" is an Amy Tangerine rub-on.

The date is also stamped with a DF roller stamp.

You know how much I love wood veneers... There are some beautiful pieces in this collection; like the word "love" which I used as a part of my title.

You can find the Polka Dot Party collection HERE in the Paper Issues shop. And you can get it with 20% off if you use the code ALEX20 at checkout. I can't wait to play with it again :-)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Life.Paper.Scrapbook: October Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! It's time for the October sketch challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook! (October?! Already?! Yikes!)

I played with the Family Stories line from Teresa Collins to create this layout about my two blessings.

They are so happy together. I can't get enough of their love, of their way to look at each other, of their laughter.

I love the memory cards that come with this collection!

I can't seem to make a layout without wood veneers these days... :-)

Just look at them! Aren't they cute together? They sure know how to melt my heart...

I hope you will join us this month and link up your interpretation of this fun sketch! Our sponsor is Studio Fourteen40 and they are giving away 6 whole packs of flair of your choice! Wish I could win! lol Now, head over to Life.Paper.Scrapbook to read more about it and to check out what other DT girls have created!

Looking forward to seeing your work!
