Paper Issues: Making it Merry

Hi guys!! I am super excited to be a part of the Making it Merry issue over at Paper Issues! Well, I am always excited to be on a issue, but this one means something extra. Wanna know why? Because it is sponsored by Gossamer Blue!!! Yay! I am in love with their products! L.O.V.E! So yeah, I've been a little giddy ever since I received their gorgeous Get Happy collection to play with :-) Here is the layout I made.

Alex Gadji - Dear Santa

I love the rich colors in this collection ♥ I cut out a piece of the Jolly & Joyful paper and used it together with the lovely B-side of the Be Bright as my background.

Alex Gadji - Dear Santa closeup4

I have used a lot of Get Happy stickers to add little touches here and there on the layout. Don't you love that deer head??

Alex Gadji - Dear Santa closeup3

I love using the pocket cards as they are, without putting anything inside them. The words "nice" and "dear" are made with my favorite mini ABC stickers from Lily Bee. I have used the cute puffy Get Happy alpha stickers for the word "Santa".

Alex Gadji - Dear Santa closeup2

And my favorite detail on this layout: The Christmas tree. I decorated the wood veneer tree with some colorful Get Happy enamel dots. It makes me smile :-)

Alex Gadji - Dear Santa closeup1

I know pretty much everything from Gossamer Blue is sold out in the Paper Issues store (I am not surprised!!), but more is on its way. Keep your eyes on the shop to grab some before it disappears again :-) And of course, feel free to use my code ALEX20 to get 20% off your entire order.

Now, head over to the blog and start linking up your Making it Merry projects! Gossamer Blue is giving away their gorrrrrgeous December Main Scrapbooking Kit and you don't wanna miss a chance to win it! Good luck!

Happy Holidays my dear scrappy friends!
Sending you all lots and lots of love!

Paper Issues + PageMaps

I am happy to share that Paper Issues is teaming up with PageMaps today! I love PageMaps sketches and I am thrilled to be one of the girl who got to play along. Here is the sketch Becky Fleck sent to me.

And here is my take on it.

Alex Gadji - Cozy the best

I played with the Get Happy collection by Gossamer Blue.

Alex Gadji - Cozy the best closeup3

The photo overlays are from Elle's Studio and the snowflake flair is from October Afternoon Silent Night collection. So is the "get cozy" brad.

Alex Gadji - Cozy the best closeup1

I usually don't stay this true to a sketch, but I really liked this one. It was so easy to work with.

Alex Gadji - Cozy the best closeup4

Love these pictures of my kiddos from the last winter. I can't wait for the snow to come again. If we can't have sun and summer the all year long, at least bring us the snow! This darkness is killing me...

Alex Gadji - Cozy the best closeup2

Now, head over to the Paper Issues blog to check out what the rest of the girls have created. I promise you TONS of inspiration!

Oh and if you (like me) looooove the Gossamer Blue Get Happy, check it out in the Paper Issues store. Feel free to use ALEX20 at checkout to get 20% off your entire order.

Friends Forever

Hi there! I have a new layout made with the Heidi Swapp September Skies collection to share.

Alex Gadji - Friends forever

Just a spontaneous little kiss on their way back home from school. Be still my heart,

Alex Gadji - Friends forever closeup1

I like how nicely the puffy hearts from the Favorite Things collection match the September Skies.

You can never have too many hearts, right? ;-)

My Heart is Full

Hi there! Today I wanted to share another layout I made with the September Skies collection by Heidi Swapp.

Alex Gadji - My heart is full

I am really starting to like all the color magic resistant embellishments. I've never user my color shine sprays for other than splatters, but this is actually reeeeeeeally fun! *grins*

Alex Gadji - My heart is full closeup1

I colored the word "together" with coral and my title with coral and citron. The big heart bellow is colored with mint green. Love all the colors!! My rainbow heart is jumping with joy!

Alex Gadji - My heart is full closeup2

The puffy stickers I used are from the Favorite Things collection. The colors goes really nice together.

Alex Gadji - My heart is full closeup3

I just love this photo of me and the little man. As the title says: My heart is full ♥

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paper Issues: Get Your Game On

Hi guys! Have you seen the current Link Party over at Paper Issues? It is called "Get Your Game On" and the prize this time is a $20 GC to the PI store.

Here is the layout I made, using the lovely On My Desk collection by Gosammer Blue.

Alex Gadji - Seriously Fave

If you want to know more about the products I've used, head over to my post over at the Paper Issues blog.

Alex Gadji - Seriously Fave closeup3

This photo of my little boy makes me happy!. I think he learned how to kick a ball pretty much at the same time as he learned how to walk. Not sure if it is a boy thing, but our daughter never showed the same enthusiasm (and believe me we've tried!).

Alex Gadji - Seriously Fave closeup2

Love creating small embellishment clusters like the one above. Another thing I love is placing small bits and pieces on top of my photo, like the one bellow.

Alex Gadji - Seriously Fave closeup1

I hope you feel inspired to join us and link up your project for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

September Skies

How I've been waiting to play with the new September Skies collection by Heidi Swapp! I fell in love the second I saw the first, tiny, little sneak ♥

Alex Gadji - Be brave & wild

I can't believe that this big boy is my baby! When/how did this happen??

Alex Gadji - Be brave & wild closeup2

I sprayed the color magic resist heart (and the Hello-tab above the photo) with the Color Shine Citron. The color goes perfectly well together with the September Skies collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a lovely weekend!

Paper Issues: Witchin' You a Happy Halloween

Hi everyone! Have you seen the current issue over at Paper Issues? It's all about Halloween and I am 100% sure that you have a project or two to link up :-) Our awesome sponsor this time is SRM Stickers and they are giving away a goodie bag full of their products. You don't wanna miss a chance to win it!

I don't know about you, but we are all into Monster High over here. My daughter was Frankie Stein this Halloween, and she rocked it! :-) I loooove these pics of her!

Alex Gadji - Halloween 2014

I have used the gorrrrgeous On My Desk collection by Gossamer Blue. You can find it HERE in the Paper Issues shop.

Alex Gadji - Halloween 2014 closeup3

I love all the gold touches ♥

Alex Gadji - Halloween 2014 closeup4

I wanted to cut my title with Cameo, but it's been driving me crazy lately! I've had nothing but problems with it since we installed Windows 8 on our PC. It's doesn't matter how many times I re-install drivers. It is pretty random whether it will work or not :-( I miss it so much :-( Anyone else having the same problem?

Alex Gadji - Halloween 2014 closeup2

I wanted to add a little touch of red under my title, so I drew a few lines with Colors Shine. The same color I splattered above the photos.

Alex Gadji - Halloween 2014 closeup1

That would be all from me this time. Head over to the PI blog and start linking up! And don't forget to check out the shop if you want some Gossamer Blue goodies to play with. Use ALEX20 at checkout to get 20% off ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!
